Faenza Icon Theme Undergoes Major Upgrade, Tons of New Icons Included

Beloved Faenza icon theme undergoes a major upgrade. Lots of new icons are included and improved Firefox and Google Chrome icons are absolutely beautiful IMO.


Brand New Faenza 0.8 Icon Theme
In the latest Faenza 0.8, a ton of new icons are added to the Faenza icon pack which include Adobe Air, Deadbeef, Facebook, Flickr, Frostwire, Gnucash, Jdownloader, Kupfer, Netbeans, Openshot, Picasa among others.

The latest Faenza update also brings in reworked icons for Gwibber, Firefox, Chromium and Google Chrome, a whole set of emblems and weather icons, new monochromatic icons for applications and more different sizes for existing icons. Read more at Faenza DeviantArt page.

How to Install Faenza 0.8 Icon Theme in Ubuntu Maverick, Lucid via PPA?
  • Installing Faenza in Ubuntu via PPA is easy, Simply do the following in Terminal.
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:tiheum/equinox
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install faenza-icon-theme
  • Done. Faenza icon theme is installed and ready to go.
