Install Boxee in Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic Koala

Boxee is my favorite media center application and I loved using it in my Ubuntu. When Karmic was released, I found out that, there is no updated repo for installing Boxee in Ubuntu Karmic. I was browsing for an alternative method to install boxee in Ubuntu karmic and I got one finally. Here is what you need to do.

AWN 0.4-Beta for Ubuntu is Back, Quick Review and Installation

Avant Window Navigator(AWN) has always been my favorite dock application. It was by far the most easy to use and far better looking dock application when compared to Gnome-Do or Cairo-Dock. But that was some years ago. I stopped using these dock applications at least a year ago and thats when I heard about the all new AWN 0.4 beta. I tested it in my Ubuntu 9.10 and I have to say AWN has pretty much maintained it status quo.

Google Chrome for Linux is Finally Here

The wait has finally ended. Google Chrome for Linux is up for grabs. Now you can install Google Chrome  in Debian, Ubuntu, Fedora and openSUSE. I have been using Chromium in Ubuntu for the past few months and I have to say, it is really worthy alternative for all other browsers out there. I currently use it as my default browser.
